Obituary for Christopher David Giammatteo

Christopher David Giammatteo
Chris Giammatteo was born on May 16, 1966, and was the youngest of six children. His siblings referred to him as “the spoiled child”. So, who was Chris ?

I believe most everyone will agree that Chris was full of love, fun, laughter, jokes, stories, card tricks, a passion for eating food-any kind of food! He loved music - whether it was talking about it, listening to it, going to concerts, or playing Rock Band, he always made it fun. His passion for life was contagious, and he was always obsessed with the newest craze, which ranged from the latest and greatest gadgets to his giant, powerful magnet collection, to his skullies, drones and lasers. Chris knew about (and had) them all and entertained us with them like nobody else could.

Most of all though, Chris had a strong love for his family, his friends (whom he considered family), and for his daughter, Emily, who is, and always will be, the pride and joy of his life. And most recently, united with his son, Colt, he was as proud as a father could ever be!

As a tribute to Chris, we invite everyone to share who Chris was to them, a funny story, or picture, or your most favorite memory.

Family and friends are invited to join us on Sunday, August 20, for a “Celebration of Life” for Chris from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at The Glass at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center, 2301 North Millbend Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77380.

Please RSVP by THURSDAY, AUGUST 18, to aussygirl@verizon.net with your name and number attending. Be prepared to share your stories!

Thank you all for being a part of Chris’ life! He will be truly missed!
