Obituary for Floyd Edward Hudson

Floyd Edward  Hudson
Floyd E. Hudson, age 78 passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at home with family by his side. He was born March 15, 1939 in West Point, Arkansas, to William and Mildred Hudson.

He was a 1957 graduate of Greenville High School in Mississippi then went on to study at Mississippi State University. Floyd proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1981 where he retired as Master Sergeant. He met the love of his life, Patricia Holdiman, at the Sears candy counter in downtown Houston, where she worked. He made her his wife a few short months later on April 14,1962. He was happily married for 56 years and enjoyed spending time with his family; popular family activities included camping in the mountains of Utah, boating, trips to visit family, and building model airplanes.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Hudson, two daughters Kimberley Boyd and husband Greg, Angie Weiss and husband Alan, brothers John Hudson and wife Theresa, Ronnie Hudson and wife Debbie, grandsons Hudson Weiss and Walker Weiss along with his nieces and nephews.

Interment at Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Please be prompt as this is a military service when you arrive file into the 2:30 car line by 2:15.
