Condolence: I just received a text from Dave Craft with the news of Chris's death, which he'd discovered while visiting Houston and attempting to locate Betty. My deepest sympathies go to Betty, if still living, and Chris's brother and Loren, Chris's ex-spouse, as well as all the people who ever knew Chris and delighted in her presence. It's been almost 30 years since Lee and I were in Kauai and watching Super Bowl XXIII with them and celebrating the 49ers comeback win. Chris was so beautiful that day (as always), bubbly and laughing and so full of life and vitality. I regret that we lost touch through the years since, but she'll always be a happy memory of mine.
