Obituary for Cassandra Darlene Allen

Cassandra "Cassie" Darlene Allen, age 52, passed away with her family by her side on, August 12, 2017 in Kingwood, TX. Cassie was born July 2, 1965, to "Buddy" Wilbur and Susan (Kress) Allen. Cassie was raised in Moss Hill, Texas and was a graduate of Hardin High School class of 1984. Cassie resided in Shepherd, TX were she truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; raising her family with her best friend Tommy Hopkins. She loved spending time with family and friends. Cassie was always happy to welcome you to her home just to visit. She had an uncanny ability to leave you with an overwhelming sense of acceptance, and feeling very loved. She is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Hopkins and son Allen Hopkins. Her parents "Buddy" and Susan Allen. She is survived by her son Kirkland and Julia Hopkins, Jolynn and husband Johnny Hughes, and Tommy Hopkins Jr. Her four grandchildren Dylin, Hallie, Hollis, and Kenstynn; Her three sisters and brother-in-laws Cristy Allen of Shepherd, TX, Sonia Johnson and Kyle Johnson of Vidor, TX, Donetta and Thomas Huckabee of Moss Hill, TX and Charlie, Billy and Skeeter Hopkins. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew and a great great nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family, friends are invited to Celebrate Cassie's life at The Moss Hill United Pentecostal Church, Moss Hill, Texas at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 2, 2017
